I had never thought of myself as creative, but after having a ton of fun creating things for my wedding, I started looking for ways to expand my new-found love of crafts.  After 9/11, I was laid off from an info-tech sales job – I had just joined the company on 9/10 – and took it as a sign to do something completely unrelated as a career.  I started making button greeting cards with my antique button collection, but got into beading while on bed rest during my pregnancy.  My friend brought me some beads to keep me busy, and the rest is history!
